Video alert! TPG UK reviews all cabins on Virgin Atlantic’s brand-new Airbus A330-900neo

Last week we managed to fly on Virgin Atlantic’s brand-new A330-900neo for its first commercial flight. In usual TPG UK fashion, we compared all three classes on board this journey from London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

We’ve been looking forward to climbing on board the A330-900neo since June 2019, when Virgin Atlantic first revealed it had placed an order for 14 of the brand-new aircraft. According to Virgin, the A330-900neo is 11% more fuel- and carbon-efficient — not to mention, also far quieter — than the A330-300s they are replacing. Additionally, the airline has also revamped each cabin class to offer something very exciting indeed.

Nicky Kelvin got the pick of the seats in Upper Class, special guest Sam Salter flew in premium economy and Liam Spencer tried out the new economy seats at the back of the plane.
