Register by June 30: Earn elite qualifying miles with the Alaska Airlines Visa

Alaska Airlines has a new promotion for Alaska Airlines Visa® cardholders.

After you register by June 30, you can earn 2,000 elite qualifying miles for every $10,000 spent on qualifying purchases using your Alaska Airlines Visa card between May 1 and Nov. 30.

Any fees, including the annual fee, returns, adjustments, cash advances and balance transfers, will not count toward the $10,000 spending requirement.

You should allow eight to 12 weeks from qualifying for the elite qualifying miles to be posted to your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account.

As a reminder, here’s what it takes to earn Alaska status in 2023:

MVP: 20,000 elite qualifying miles or 30 segments and at least two segments on Alaska-marketed and -operated flights.
MVP Gold: 40,000 elite qualifying miles or 60 segments and at least six segments on Alaska-marketed and -operated flights.
MVP Gold 75K: 75,000 elite qualifying miles or 90 segments and at least 12 segments on Alaska-marketed and -operated flights.
MVP Gold 100K: 100,000 elite qualifying miles or 140 segments and at least 24 segments on Alaska-marketed and -operated flights.
