Although it may be too late to book a reasonably priced flight for Labor Day, don’t despair: You can still book a last-minute trip that won’t break the bank for the rest of September, all of October and part of November thanks to JetBlue’s Big Fall Sale.
Tuesday marks day one of this weeklong sale, with one-way JetBlue flights starting as low as $39, across the JetBlue network. This deal includes international flights, and it offers wide availability out of New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Fort Myers, Florida, among other cities.
Even though you have until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Aug. 30 to book this sale, we expect flights to sell out before then, so don’t assume deals will last all week.

Once you select a route, you’ll be prompted to select a departure date and return date (if applicable) using JetBlue’s low-fare calendar.

Although this sale is advertised as being for one-way fares, you can use the calendar to find any return flights for the same price. For example, you could use this deal to book a round-trip flight from BOS-CHS in early October for $157 total, comprised of two one-way flights for $79 each.

These flights, along with the others you book through this sale, will be for the lowest fare available, which is either Blue Basic or Blue. Blue Basic only allows travelers one personal item that can fit under the seat in front of them; any full-size carry-on brought to the gate will be checked for $65. To bring a full-size carry-on, I would recommend upgrading to Blue. Neither fare type includes checked luggage, so factor in $35 for your first checked bag and $45 for your second.
